Hello! My name is Rose Caracostas and I am the owner and founder of Elmwood Counseling. My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-harming behavior, suicidal ideation.
I am a certified EMDR clinician and trained in several different treatment modalities, which enables me to work with a variety of patients and create an individualized treatment plan for individuals, families, couples and parents.
My focus is to help individuals, families and couples heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan to meet your goals.
I hope to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Laura Hirsch, LCSW
Hello! My name is Laura Hirsch and my approach to therapy is to work together to create a safe environment full of learning, empathy, and collaboration to reach realistic goals that we create together. I recognize that you are the expert in your life and want to work with you to build a therapeutic relationship where change and growth can occur.
I work from a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and trauma informed approach. I work with clients who are experiencing a variety of different things from anxiety, depression, major life changes, parenting struggles, relationship issues, and adoption.
My focus is to partner with individuals, couples, and families to help them focus on their strengths and ability to make the changes they desire in their lives.
I am available for telehealth sessions on evenings and weekends. Let’s work together to create the life and relationships that you desire.
